Thanks, guys, for a great time. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, and I hope you get lots of use out of your new band pics. These are some of my favorite shots from the session.
On another note: don't forget that I'm offering free portrait sessions through Feb 17th, so if you haven't already made an appointment to take advantage of this deal, contact me soon to reserve your date!

This month's special is very special, indeed! Any session taking place in January will be FREE! That's right! In fact, since I'm posting this late, I will extend this month's special all the way up until February 17th! So, Happy Valentine's Day, too! The $80 minimum print order still applies.

And Happy New Website! This is my first EVER blog…so I don’t know, for sure, what it will end up like, but I’m looking forward to it!
This will definitely be a place for clients to get a preview of their photos before I get to posting proofs, but it may also be sort of a fun little journal. For instance, today I think I’ll share some of my Chicago Christmas with you!
There is so much to say about this trip home. It’s all devastatingly interesting to me, but maybe not to you…so I’ll just give you a few details about our wonderful holiday…
1. Family, family, and family! So much family and so little time—thank God for all the wonderful people we have in our lives! We’re so lucky—so blessed to have so many hilariously funny, cool people to spend Christmas with! So good to see my adorable nephews and meet my brother’s girlfriend for the first time.
2. Downtown Chicago: this was my favorite part of the trip…we went to Christkindmart at Daley Plaza and then to Macy’s to look at the windows while sipping on warm drinks from Starbucks…just dreamy. It really was fantastic. It seemed like every one of the thousands of people we saw that night was full of the Christmas spirit (or maybe they were just full of the spiced cider they were selling at the Christkindmart!) If you are ever able to go to Chicago at Christmastime—you must check this out. It is an amazing thing to be at a street-festival in winter in Chicago. Bizarre and beautiful…and cold.
3. FOOD!!!!!! Dunkin Donuts. Italian Beef. Chicago-Style Dogs. Home-made Christmas Cookies. My mom’s vegetable soup!!!!! God, it was SO good. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
There’s more to say, of course, but I figure I’ll keep it relatively brief this time. Thanks for reading! Take care!
